Market Stalls:
That old chestnut took the stall to a new venue this week, with a few new recipes too! A variety of pizzas were on offer as a savoury alternative to the winter warming soups and also... banana and chocolate cake! Granary Wharf Pannier Market started in April and is held the last saturday of the month.

Spring has brought out some new clothing! Logo Aprons! Easter Sunday was a quiet day at the market, but the sun was shining and the assortment of fancy muffins brought smiles.

The weather is getting milder and this brought more people to the farmer's market this weekend, but it was still cold enough for That Old Chestnut's warming soups to go down a storm! Parsnip and Apple was the speciality this week and also bringing in the summer flavours with Carrot and Orange!

That Old Chestnut took their stall to the Leed's Farmers Market which was greatly received. Serving up a range of hot soups with some tasty sweet vegan treats for afters deemed to be a great success in the cold months of winter.

That Old Chestnut had their first market stall on the 24th October 2009 at Leeds City Outdoor Market. Putting on a wide spread of homemade vegan food; Hot soup and bread, a selection of cakes and buns, flapjacks, ginger biscuits and peanut butter cookies, and a variety of vegetable pizzas. friendly food at friendly prices. |



Although the weather was a bit wet it didn’t stop these guys from selling their goodies. That Old Chestnut had a free give away at The Closet in Leeds Met Union to advertise their up coming stall at Leeds City Outdoor Market.
