Youth Anthems #21

OK folks, Winter is when our next gig arrives (or it’s probably still actually Autumn but that doesn’t work for mood setting so…) so we’ve picked a bill that suits the mood…

This is (as ever!) a family friendly, all ages, accessible and welcoming to all matinee gig in the centre of Leeds, we’ll have cake, face painting and a fully stocked bar with hot and cold drinks alongside the following bill of live music:

HAQ123
https://haq123.bandcamp.com/releases

Zac (10) on drums, Millie (9) on vocals and Dave (old enough to know better) on bass are HAQ123. Do not take their ages as a reason to think this is a novelty band, take a listen to their music and ask anyone lucky enough to have seen them live, HAQ123 are the real deal.

Invoking the sounds of their Birmingham home town they channel Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Orange Goblin et al i.e. hard rocking metal!! Again if you need convincing they played Supersonic Festival in 2017 alongside Melt Banana, Princess Nokia and Oxbow Choir! Definitely bring your ear defenders..!

LISA MARIE GLOVER

Witty, multi-genre spanning bangers from this Leeds legend. Lisa-Marie is member of the inspiring Bomb The Twist collective and an incredible musician. Whereas HAQ123 might be welcoming the Winter, Lisa-Marie will be keeping our spirits up!

LUNAR SOUNDS
soundcloud.com/lunarsoundsband

90’s influenced trio on a grunge, riot grrl vibe. Remember the name and get down early for them as I doubt they’re going to be first on the bill for many more gigs.

Tickets are free for people 15 and under and £5 for everyone else. Available now from Ticket Source.
