It’s small, self-taught and driven by a passionate desire to provide quality cakes to the people of Leeds, that just so happen to be 100% plant-based. The desserts on offer are wide-ranging and full of natural ingredients, with flavours and decorations that are creative and unpretentious.
That Old Chestnut sources organic and fair trade ingredients whenever possible, and supports local traders in Leeds and Yorkshire, including workers’ co-ops and the experienced stallholders within Leeds Kirkgate Market.
That Old Chestnut’s current focus is on designing custom and special occasion cakes upon request. Every creation That Old Chestnut makes is honest, reflecting the pure and uncomplicated ingredients which are used to create them.
